Time to Rise, Ladies of Media
2nd December 2016, 12:00 – 15:30, Shore – 4/F The L-Place, 139 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong
Gender diversity is at the forefront of the industry’s focus and Asia, because of its diverse cultural and social norms, is on the frontline of this focus. Attitudes need to change, and equilibrium needs to be found. One of the most important factors in the gender-diversity debate is the mid-career roadblock. Only one in ten candidates sourced from The Talent Business, since 2013, to C-Suite positions, have been female.
There is a wealth of female talent worthy of these roles. The crucial question is how can media organisations capture that pool, when recruiting to positions of regional and global leadership?
On 2nd December, our Global COO, Emma Loisel will be speaking about diversity in media on the Time to Rise panel, alongside Angelia Teo, Head of Content Lab at Campaign Asia-Pacific and Rachelle Berges, Regional Head of Media and Communications for Johnson and Johnson.
