The Exchange Lab is looking for an individual to manage a talented team of programmatic specialists in the performance, delivery and management of programmatic campaigns. This person should be able to cultivate a performance driven culture and foster a progressive team first environment.  They will also play more of a direct role in set up, optimization and reporting on large strategic accounts.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Relevant experience in online marketing or applied analytics industry
  • University degree in a quantitative field or equivalent demonstrated skill (i.e. Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Engineering)
  • Expert knowledge of Proteus application software
  • Expert knowledge of technical advertising backend (ad serving, tags, macros, etc)
  • Expert understanding of programmatic media and experience working with multiple DSPs, ad servers and verification partners
  • Expert understanding of marketing fundamentals, KPIs, and holistic brand strategy
  • Data literate. Capable of converting log level data from disparate data sources into valuable insights and coherent brand stories.
  • Experience leading and developing digital marketing professionals
  • Experience in leading relationship with c-suite level clients, agency teams, and marketing professionals.
  • Experience in managing advertising for world leading brands and marketers
  • Experience in cross-functional workloads. Able to speak confidently in all areas of digital advertising, and with corresponding account management, operational, sales, product, technology, and development teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple team members, client relationships, and internal projects while achieving revenue goals and building growth.
  • Someone who can embody the highest standards of integrity and puts people first
  • Experience with organizational and team performance management principles
  • History of dealing with ambiguity through adding structure and prioritizing issues
  • Ability to prioritise and focus, with a high level of attention to detail
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Bright, charismatic, inspirational with the ability to win credibility internally and externally
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate and deliver messages effectively
  • Ability to work in a strong and international team environment
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • Must have project management skills
  • Experience with project management software like Smart Sheet, Trello, Google Docs, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite & web browsers
  • Experience with reporting & data visualization tools like Tableau, R, Python, Excel, etc
  • Basic online programming and ad-server knowledge preferred
  • Experience with traditional advertising and its broader implications within programmatic is necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day to day management a team who plan, execute, ensure delivery, and provide analytics on a large portfolio of accounts across all client verticals
  • Responsible for management of revenue growth, sales performance, and management of global client accounts.
  • Talent management and development of staff
  • Ensure delivery, execution and client interactions are up to TEL quality standards
  • Personally manage high priority international client relationships
  • Support development of processes and tools that allow TEL to scale and deliver campaigns in a more efficient manner
  • Liaise between programmatic execution team, sales team, and analytics team to ensure campaign performance
  • Retention (and growth) of existing accounts through superior performance and execution
  • Develop and deliver ongoing strategic client feedback and reviews to advertisers and agencies
  • Deal with client escalations and issues
  • Partner with sales team to successfully bring in new business
  • Manage set up and day to day optimizations of strategic accounts
  • Function as the programmatic expert to clients and be aware of all upcoming trends and relative importance
  • Provide feedback to Technology Manager on new functionality
  • Monthly billing process, reporting and client reviews
  • Support ongoing client management
