The Role:

As Product Manager within the Data team you will be work on a variety of data projects. You will own our Core Reporting product and work closely with the Senior Product Manager on our Data warehouse and Data Lake projects. For the successful candidate there is a great opportunity to learn how data is managed at scale in the adtech ecosystem.

This role will sit within the Technology team but is client facing and will be working with teams within TEL and GroupM to gather reporting requirements and turn those into functional specs that the development team can work on.

You will come from an adtech background and understand the programmatic ecosystem as well as being comfortable using and managing data and understanding how this data can be used from a customer’s perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather user requirements, write functional specs and user stories.
  • Work directly with developers to prioritise the team’s workload to reach business goals and manage development time to incrementally deliver value.
  • Understand core business needs, summarise into requirements and create clear specifications for developing this work.
  • Understand the downstream impacts of any new features or development and coordinate with the relevant teams to ensure a seamless release process
  • Support local resources (Deployment team, Project Management) to make sure the roll out of Proteus is as smooth as possible.
  • Support the Product Management and development team throughout the development cycle of the product.
  • Attend daily stand up meetings to ensure product features are on track as specified.
  • Brief and train internal and external teams on new product releases.

 Experience & Skills

  • Able to handle complex requirements from multiple clients and pull together into a comprehensive plan.Good with data, working knowledge of SQL and Excel a must.Previous experience working in adtech a must.Excellent organisational and analytical skills with a good attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of how data is transformed and used within a business.
  • Good with data and understand how it can be used for customer benefit.
  • Previous experience on client facing reporting product.
  • Technical background.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and team skills.
  • Previous experience using Tools like Confluence, Jira and Balsamic a plus.
